A Chicken Wrap recipe passed down for generations

The chicken wrap with sumac that started it all. So I learned how to make these wraps from my mom who learned from her mom. It’s been in the Chaldean community for, well a long time. Every time I made this wrap my girlfriends literally devoured it. It is so light and good yet so simple to make with just 4 ingredients. My girlfriends and I get together every other week for poker. Usually the host makes everything, well some of us do take out. I always make my wraps amongst other things, but that seems to be the popular dish that always disappears first. I decided to make a fun 60 second tutorial on how to make it. This chicken wrap was my first video and after I posted it, I ended up getting 3,500 views that week. Then I decided to make more cooking tutorials of my recipes and post them. And that my friends is how it all started… That is when ranaskitchen was born. Haha! I love this wrap with the lavash bread because it’s so light. If you cannot find lavash bread at your local middle eastern store, then you can pretty much use any wrap or pita bread. This chicken wrap is great for Super Bowl parties, picnics, road trips, or just because. I always make them when we go on a road trip and they’re always a big hit. My kids love them. If you are rushing home from work and you’re hungry and want something quick to make, just stop and get a rotisserie chicken instead of cooking one. Within just 20 minutes, you will have a delicious and healthy chicken wrap. It’s really that easy 🙂

Happy Cooking 🙂
